No promise currently activating at midnight.
Promises fulfilled: 5
/////
Bear in mind - this note is a one-way switch. If it exists at midnight, it will also apply to tomorrow. If it gets deleted, the existing promise is unchanged.
You may feel tempted to circumnavigate the conditions of the promise in a sly way. This is not worth it. You made this promise for a reason. Make her proud.

This might just work in the most effective way. In the morning, the idea of almonding is blasphemous. So Iβm fine with making that promise. In the evening, I crave it, but that feeling is eclipsed by devotion to the promise. I have little issue with the promise being applied to the following day too, as itβs not a short term problem and it also comes with a sense of pride.
There are lots of things I canβt apply this to, as I think these promises should be kept simple, like βI will Xβ or βI will not Xβ. Adding conditions and details will make things too convoluted, and promising something Iβm not fully confident in is a risk Iβm not willing to take.
But for the things it can apply to, it might just work beautifully.
/////
The other thing Iβm thinking of applying it to is not buying anything unnecessary with my shop. I very often regret doing so, and I can obviously remove the promise the day before an exception if Iβm PLANNING to get treats.
But I really donβt want to have multiple promises on the go at once, at least for now. These are very serious things, and I canβt risk messing up by forgetting one of several things to comply with. We will have one promise going at a time. But maybe, I can still use it tactically. If I track what the current promise is, and I have to decide it a day in advance, I can front-load good decisions that I think will have the most impact.
In my current state, I need to be well-rested so that I can give a strong performance in these CyberBot interviews. Therefore, stopping almonds in advance is very useful. It feels justified to buy myself a small reward after a good day of this, as Iβm not too worried about additional cost or long-term health during a short, stressful period like this. I want to keep rewarding myself to boost morale, but not in a way that damages me, such as staying up late. So shopping treats are fine, late sleeps are not.
